Message Copilot on Pro: 100 AI drafts each month

Spend less time starting a client message from a blank page.

Eligible paid Pro studios now have 100 Message Copilot drafts per calendar month. The message drawer shows the remaining monthly allowance, so you can see how many drafts are available as you work.

Review, personalise and send

Use a draft as your starting point, check the details and adjust the wording before sending through your chosen messaging channel. You remain in control of the final message.

Clearer feedback in the message drawer

Copy, messaging handoff and “Mark as sent” actions now show clearer progress and error feedback. Controls also prevent repeated clicks while an action is being recorded.

The monthly allowance applies to eligible paid Pro access; trial and introductory access follow their own allowances. Automatic WhatsApp delivery remains on the roadmap.

Automations: clearer results, better timing

Your studio workflows should help you follow through—and make it clear when something needs attention. Our latest automation improvements focus on both.

Start from the action that matters

Supported event-based workflows now start from actions such as adding a lead, booking a client, sending an invoice, recording a payment, signing a contract or submitting a questionnaire. This reduces reliance on a later scheduled scan to pick up those actions.

See what actually happened

Automation activity now distinguishes skipped work from completed actions and makes problems easier to investigate. For example, a task step without a linked event reports why it was skipped.

Keep upcoming work in view

We also improved how date-based workflows consider bookings and gallery expiry dates that change, reducing missed eligible reminders. Date-based reminders continue to run on the scheduler.

Open Automations to review your enabled workflows and their recent activity.

Gallery uploads that keep moving

A big shoot should not mean a long evening watching an upload queue. Our recent gallery improvements make progress easier to follow and help recover from interrupted transfers.

See progress for each photo

The upload dock shows per-file progress, so you can see which photos are moving and which need attention. Stalled transfers are detected, and recoverable upload failures get another attempt before being reported as failed.

Avoid uploading the same batch twice

When Captura finds a matching filename and file size already in the same gallery, it skips that upload and shows “Already in this gallery”. You can still choose to upload the skipped files if you intended to add them again.

A more consistent gallery presentation

Shared galleries use your saved cover, with a first load that shifts around less. Newly generated previews also respect photo orientation, helping portrait images display upright.

September update: clearer client communication and studio workflows

This September’s updates make everyday studio work easier to manage—from the first client email to the next task and invoice.

Visual email template builder

Create and arrange headings, text, images and buttons, use reusable variables, and preview your email before saving. Studio owners can find it in Settings → Email Templates.

Your studio’s branding in client emails

Templated emails bring together your logo or studio name, brand colours and editable wording for a more consistent client experience.

A clearer client portal

Clients can review invoice details and read contracts on a clearer document surface. Studio-side contract previews benefit from the same readability improvements.

A redesigned Expenses workspace

Review studio spending by month, financial year, category and payee, with records and spending totals together.

Team & Tasks in one workspace

Assign work and follow progress through To Do, In Progress, Review, Blocked and Done, with access appropriate to each team member’s role.

Quotes and invoices, one clear overview

Search contacts and filter billing documents to see what needs your action, what is waiting on the client and what is settled. Continue into the existing quote or invoice screen for the next step.

What we’re working on next

An interactive demo studio is in progress, with sample workspaces for owners and employees and a sample client portal. We’ll announce availability when the complete experience is ready.
